3 male security guards and 2 female staff members followed my physically disabled daughter as she browsed around Myers. In pack mentally they confronted her in store while still holding items she wished to buy, demanding to search her bag "to ease his mind". Finding nothing they seemed disappointed, with no apology they continued following her while she purchased her items, the cashier treating her with contempt and as she left the store. I'm sure it isn't illegal to browse?
It's rare for my daughters pain to be low enough for her to get out, so I gave her my card and dropped her off. After a long time in lockdown and online uni without her support network she was so excited to get out.
Strangely Myer website doesn't have a complaint section. That says it all, clearly too many to handle or they don't care about their customers.
Won't be back!
Absolutely pathetic to be polite! Waited over 2 weeks for a $600 coffee machine. I alerted Myer that the item was going to the wrong address while tracking the item daily (Aust Post) with no response. I received delivery notification saying the item had been delivered to Leopold (not Edithvale as per delivery address). I immediately raised ENQUIRY/complaint with Australia Post and contacted Myer numerous times only to receive replies saying ‘your item has been delivered’. How do you get through to these twits??? Australia Post is their problem and I want a replacement ASAP or full refund. They expect me to wait for Australia Post to conduct investigation before supplying me with my purchase? Aust Post obviously doesn’t have a clue where they are sending stuff and as far as I’m concerned that’s Myers concern/business. What an absolute joke of an organisation!!! I want what I purchased or a full refund ASAP.

Fantastic service from Myers. Ordered a Sunbeam EM0700 precision grinder online on Sunday and got it delivered on Wednesday. The item was very well packed with protective air cushions. Will buy again from Myers.
Extremely annoyed
I bought a soda streamer got home and it wasn’t in box so 45 mins drive for me tomorrow to pick it up each way. I didn’t feel the weight missing as I bought the bottles and was quite heavy anyway.
So apparently I took the display box which was in their display of about ten soda streamers not my mistake . Annoyed
Was looking forward to using as you do when you spend $250.00 I haven’t purchased anything for a long time and was really disappointed, not to mention fuel going back down there
A big "thank you" to Mary at the 4th floor Adelaide store. ( Kitchen section). She was very helpful even though there were only 2 staff members and very busy.
The bra fitting staff are the reason i will never step foot in any store in Myer. Have never been back. The inexperience of the girl attending me, she seemed to have no idea. Then to be asked when i gave birth due to having a flabby stomach with heaps of stretchmarks was awkward. My child is 29 years old. Will never recommend such inexperienced incompetent people to help ladies with something as important as a bra fitting.
Online shopping. Rubbish. I was wary as I have been told stocks at Myers might not tally with what's available online. I still gave it a go. Disappointed. stock not available, now having to wait for it to be shipped. I wanted click and collect as we do not have time to visit post office and I wanted the item ASAP. First and last time ,I'm buying online from them .
The staff are doing there best. I was shopping for dress trousers and all they could offer was one rack of odd sizes and an apology that stocks were low. If this is the new face of retaining its no wonder shopping on-line is taking off. Meyer need to get their act together and give there dedicated staff the opportunity to generate revenue.
When in Myer on Wednesday 13th Jan looking to purchase a product from the Clarins counter of which was not manned, an employee named Fozea came to our assistance .
There were other workers at a closer proximity who did not attempt to help.
Fozea came over from another area of beauty to help.
Fozea searched for the product to no avail.
Fozea took my name and number to follow it up with workers in that section.
Fozea is to be commended for her fabulous customer engagement and service.
My shipment just arrived and has the dye tag still on the item. I do not drive and only ordered online as I am not able to get to a store. I have no idea how staff do not check for this kind of thing and is most frustrating.
Ordered an item two weeks ago and received an email with a tracking number, saying that the item would be collected by the courier within 24 hours. After 10 days, I contacted the courier company to ask where the parcel was. They said the order has not been booked for delivery by Myer and therefore not collected.
Worst of all, there's no way to contact Myer except calling them. What kind of online store doesn't have live chat or email as customer service channels?
If Myer want to be a serious e-commerce player, they need to refine their delivery and customer service to match or beat other online retailers. The current experience is not good enough and I would not shop online with them again.
Myer is so BAD!! They do not do care about their customers. I've placed an order online on 7/11/2020 and inform them it was a birthday gift, still nothing come to me so far!! I called them last week, they ask me to check with Toll. The Toll used 1 week to come back to me and said they haven't found the parcel and ask me to check with Myer. I then called and they just asked me to wait for another couple of days. The worst is the customer service just hang off my phone!! Really Bad. Should you have a chance Do Not shop at Myer!
Deceptive Practices for online postal returns
I was looking to purchase some clothing from Myer Online. It is very difficult to be confident of the sizing of clothing so before ordering I checked on the conditions on its return policy. It states that the customer only had to bear the return postal cost for ‘change of mind’ suggesting that return for other reasons would be acceptable. I was therefore confident that this would not include sizing.
In the event, the trousers I ordered were too big. In seeking to return them and secure a postal label I was surprised to find out I was expected to pay $12.20 for postage. This was despite selecting the wrong size box which is separate from ‘change of mind’. Its Customer Service Department - Essie and Laura did not offer an apology, were unhelpful and confirmed this interpretation and said the wrong size drop down box only applied to when Myer shipped the wrong size.
I find this deceptive. Myer does not provide any guidance on ‘change of mind'. If it wanted to be clear, it would have stated that the customer bears the cost for postal return for any reason other than when Myer itself made an error or where the item was defective. Not impressed Myer, don’t bother to buy online from Myer.
